Greater  Delaware Valley Supports School Integration

The Rally in Trenton on March 31, 2022,  was well attended by Advocates from many organizations. Supporters rallied to end segregation in New Jersey schools outside the Trenton Justice Complex. The New Jersey Lawsuit argues that many NJ students are denied the social and academic benefits of diversity; thus perpetuating segregated schools. Greater Delaware Valley Branch NAACP was represented at the rally in support of school integration

 

Officers Attended Mansfield Township School Board Meeting in Support of Board Member Targeted in a Recall Petition

On February 22, 2022, Branch President, Edwina Sessons and 2nd Vice President, Rochelle Graham attended the Northern Burlington County Regional School Board meeting. They challenged the members to address the benefits of diversity in the wake of a board member, Kerri Tillett who has been cited for a recall of her election in 2020.
